After recent news about a reunion with an old flame, “Baixinho” was surprised to be seen with a new company in New York.
In the past, he sought the presence of Nana Gouvêa, a Brazilian actress who has lived in North America for years. The two were spotted together in Manhattan on at least two occasions.
Among the sightings, Nana, who has been the drum queen of several carnivals, was with Romário and his friends at a celebration dinner, on car trips around the city and even in a cigar shop. A video and a photograph show the couple in an intimate moment on the balcony of the renowned Millennium Hilton New York One Un Plaza.
What makes the situation even more peculiar is the fact that this same Millennium Hilton New York One Un Plaza was the place to stay for Marcielle Mota, an ex-girlfriend of Romário who traveled at his invitation. Apparently, one of the women was unaware of the other’s presence in the former athlete’s life, both in the same environment.
When asked about what happened, Nana Gouvêa expressed her feeling of disrespect: “I don’t want to talk about it now, I just feel disrespected, because I had no idea that there was a girl with him in the same hotel.”
The relationship between Nana and Romário has ancient roots, going back many years, when they met in Rio de Janeiro. At that time, she was featured in men’s magazines and he was a constant figure in Rio’s nightlife.
