Federal Revenue opens consultation for the second batch of 2026 income tax refunds this Tuesday
The Federal Revenue will begin this Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10 am, the consultation of the second batch of Income Tax (IR) refunds. As with the first, called “super lot”, the expectation is that the tax body will make a record payment of R$16 billion, benefiting around 9 million taxpayers. Deposits are scheduled for the 30th of the same month.
To check whether it was included in this batch, the taxpayer can access the official IRS website. On the platform, you will need to provide your full name, CPF number and date of birth to carry out the consultation.
In addition to the main portal, it is possible to carry out the verification through the “My Income Tax” application, available for cell phones and tablets, or using e-CAC, the tax authority’s Virtual Service Center.
Guidance on the 2026 income tax refund process
The query to find out if you have been included can be carried out in a practical way on the Federal Revenue website, through the “My Income Tax” application or through e-CAC.
The IRS also announced a special and automatic batch of R$500 million. This payment, which will be made via cashback, is scheduled for July 15th, targeted at a specific group of taxpayers.
Those who sent their Income Tax declaration within the deadline, which ended on May 29, and who meet the priority rules established by legislation, have a chance of receiving the amounts in this batch.

In situations of a tie, the decisive criterion is the date and time of sending the declaration, favoring whoever sent it first. Next, check the order of priority:
- Taxpayers aged 80 or over;
- People aged 60 or over, as well as individuals with disabilities or serious illnesses;
- Teaching professionals, for whom teaching represents the main source of income;
- Those who used the pre-filled declaration and chose Pix to receive the refund;
- Taxpayers who opted for the pre-filled declaration or requested receipt via Pix;
- The other taxpayers, following the order in which the declaration is submitted.
Steps to check your income tax refund
Access the Federal Revenue portal.
On the main page, search for and select the “My Income Tax” option.
Within the “Services” tab, click on “Consult my refund”.
Start the process by entering your CPF number and date of birth.
Indicate that the values refer to the year 2025.
Complete the security verification step by clicking on “I’m human”, and then on “Consult”.
