Charli XCX finds a stylish solution to the Paris heat at Men’s Fashion Week
A recent severe heatwave in Europe has redefined dynamics in several metropolises, including the vibrant French capital. With thermometers reaching up to 40°C in certain regions, France has implemented adjustments to urban life, the operation of services and the opening hours of tourist attractions. Even the world of haute couture felt the impacts of the climate, with the Paris Men’s Fashion Week (Spring-Summer 2027), which started on Tuesday (23.06), having its official schedule modified to deal with the high temperatures.
Amid the oppressive heat of Paris, British artist Charli XCX turned heads by displaying a unique and elegant approach to combating challenging weather conditions.
Present to follow the Men’s Fashion Week events, the singer demonstrated relaxation and prioritized well-being. She wore a sophisticated red model with straps, with lace details and a side slit, finished off by a black handbag. However, what really caught our attention was its indispensable companion: a small black portable fan.
With a happy face, Charli was seen using the device constantly to alleviate the intense heat and cool her face as she walked through the corridors and among the participants. This practical item has quickly established itself as the object of desire and the most essential piece of the current Paris fashion season.
For her appearance at Men’s Fashion Week, Charli XCX maintained lightness and concern for personal comfort. Wearing a distinctive red dress with straps, adorned with lace and a pronounced side slit, and accompanied by a black bag, the British singer surprised everyone by showing off her anti-heat device: a compact black handheld fan.
The singer, smiling and interacting openly with the public, was photographed using the small device continuously, seeking relief for her face and reducing the effects of the scorching weather while moving. This little “gadget” quickly established itself as the most desired and crucial component of all Parisian programming.
