Ram Dakota: unprecedented Big Horn version has launch price announced and details for direct sales
Ram revealed the inaugural image and the direct sales price for the Dakota Big Horn, the entry-level configuration of the midsize pickup, set at R$249,990. With this pricing, the new model is positioned approximately R$9,000 below the intermediate versions of the Rampage, such as the Rebel turbodiesel and the Laramie turbo flex, specifically targeting the fleet owners and rural producers segment.
Ram Dakota 2026 price list

Still without the official list of equipment for the Dakota Big Horn in Brazil, Ram suggests that the new variant will follow the pattern seen in Uruguay, where it was introduced in March. In the Uruguayan market, the pickup, imported from Argentina, offers as standard items: a 7-inch digital dashboard, 12.3-inch multimedia center, six airbags and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The safety package includes stability and traction controls, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control (ACC), pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assistant, 540-degree camera and LED headlights with dynamic cornering lighting.
In terms of appearance, the Dakota Laramie version lacks side steps and the santantonium in the bucket. The 17-inch alloy wheels, in turn, receive a simplified finish.
The engine remains unchanged, equipped with the MultiJet 2.2 four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, equipped with direct injection. This engine delivers 200 horsepower and 45.9 kgfm of torque, coupled to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Traction is temporary 4×4, electronically controlled and with a reduced option.

Weighing 2,150 kg, the pickup reaches 100 km/h from zero in 9.9 seconds. Its maximum speed is 180 km/h, limited by electronic control.
In terms of dimensions, the Ram Dakota is 5.35 meters long, 1.89 meters wide, 1.82 meters high and has a wheelbase of 3.18 meters. The bucket has a volume of 1,210 liters, with a load capacity specified at 1,020 kg.
