Samsung Ocean’s technological training reaches 231 thousand students in 12 years of free courses
Samsung Ocean, Samsung’s technological training program, celebrates this Wednesday, June 24, 12 years of activities in Brazil. Since its implementation, the initiative has registered the participation of 231,438 people in its units located in Manaus, São Paulo and Brasília. The project offers courses, workshops, laboratories and various actions focused on technology and innovation.
Over more than a decade, the program has seen a growing interest in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Programming, Game Development and User Experience (UX). With a free, monthly program that includes online and in-person activities, Samsung Ocean also stands out for offering content on Digital Health, Android, Internet of Things (IoT), and technological entrepreneurship. These areas, crucial to today’s digital economy, prepare students for a constantly evolving job market with a high demand for specialists.
Eduardo Conejo, director of Innovation in Samsung’s Research and Development area, highlighted the importance of the initiative. He states that “This is an opportunity to celebrate the impact that Samsung Ocean has been building in training talent for the Brazilian technology ecosystem.
