BMW Motorrad announces renewed R 1300 GS line in Brazil with Akrapovic as standard and new features
BMW Motorrad Brasil recently revealed a series of improvements for the R 1300 GS motorcycle in the national market. The big trail model, which is manufactured at the BMW Group facilities in Manaus (AM), now offers a wider range of colors, more equipment included from the factory and the integration of the Akrapovic exhaust as standard.
Among the innovations presented for the new line, new visual configurations and the expansion of the ASA (Automated Shift Assistant) system offer in specific variants stand out. The update also includes equipment that was already part of the motorcycle’s standard package, and the vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships from July onwards.
The updated values for the versions equipped with the Akrapovic exhaust start at R$ 115,990 for the BMW R 1300 GS “Sport” and reach R$ 145,990 for the Option 719 “Premium ASA”. It is important to highlight that these prices do not include shipping fees, following BMW Brazil’s commercial policy.
New shades and finishes for the 2026 model

The BMW R 1300 GS presents new color options for its finish to the Brazilian public. Among the new features is an unprecedented red hue, while the Trophy version gains silver and the Option 719 configuration displays a new blue.
The Triple Black configuration, which is already well recognized, will maintain its graphics without changes. The German manufacturer highlights that this version preserves the visual identity already established with consumers of the GS line.
These changes aim to offer a greater number of alternatives to customers, while at the same time the motorcycle maintains the same mechanical and technological basis that defines it.
Inclusion of the Akrapovic tip as a factory item
One of the main innovations implemented is the inclusion of the Akrapovic exhaust tip as standard equipment. This is a significant differentiator that elevates the model’s value proposition, as premium accessories like this often represent a considerable additional investment for consumers.
The component becomes a standard item in all new versions that will be sold in Brazil. BMW Motorrad states that this change is part of the model’s update package, which is manufactured locally in Manaus.
In addition to the new exhaust, the motorcycle maintains a wide list of standard equipment, which includes spoked wheels, central stand, dynamic traction control and tire pressure monitoring.
Advanced technology to optimize the riding experience
Among the available equipment, the model offers an electronically adjustable windshield, electronic suspension with automatic height adjustment and several electronic driving assistants.
The manufacturer explains that these systems were designed to allow the motorcycle to adapt optimally to different conditions of use and types of terrain, providing greater safety and comfort.
Improved Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) system availability
Another innovation announced for the line is the expansion of accessibility of the ASA (Automated Shift Assistant) system. This technology allows for smoother and more automatic gear shifting, making driving easier in different scenarios.
The system will now be present in the Triple Black Premium ASA and Option 719 Premium ASA versions, thus expanding the options that include this feature in the R 1300 GS range.
Developed to increase comfort while riding, the ASA system is an integral part of the advanced technological package that the motorcycle offers its users.
