Bodies of boy’s mother and ex-partner are discovered dead in the East Zone of SP after attempted kidnapping
The two bodies found in the Colônia neighborhood, located in the East Zone of São Paulo, were officially identified as belonging to the mother of a child and her ex-partner. The discovery comes days after a notorious attempt to kidnap the boy in Guaianases.
According to initial investigations, the man, identified as Hamilton, is identified as the creator of the action. His objective was to remove the boy from the custody of the woman, named Carolyn, due to suspicions that the child was being abused.
Hamilton had a previous relationship with Carolyn and, even after the breakup, he had a strong affection for the boy. Upon learning of the alleged episodes of mistreatment, he allegedly made the decision to kidnap the child.
To carry out his plan, Hamilton would have co-opted Lucas, who ended up being detained on the 19th, in the central region of São Paulo, after being recognized by police officers on patrol.
In his statement, Lucas reported that he and Hamilton were removed from the taxi by local residents, immediately after the attempted kidnapping, and then attacked by the population.
The bodies were found with clear signs of beatings and mechanical asphyxiation. The Civil Police is now deepening the investigation to determine whether the couple’s death is related to the actions of a “crime court”, a term used to designate summary justice actions carried out by criminal factions in dominated areas, often imposing their own rules and punishments.
The State Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) is responsible for the case, seeking to clarify the authorship of the deaths and the possible participation of other individuals.
Details of the arrest of the second person involved in the attempt
One of the men detained for his involvement in the attempted kidnapping of the child in Guaianases confessed to the crime and revealed that he was hiding for fear of being murdered. The confession was recorded by a military police officer’s body camera during the approach.

On Friday (19), agents were patrolling the center of São Paulo when they identified the suspect, whose identity was not disclosed. The approach took place on Rua Apa, located in the Santa Cecília area.
He did not resist arrest and informed the police that he was already waiting to be located by the authorities. According to the suspect, after the great repercussion of the video of the attempted kidnapping on social media, he began to fear for his life, imagining being targeted by residents.
“I was hiding because the population tried to kill me. It was a journey that no one was aware of what the ideas were. I stayed for a day, almost two days in a stream, you know. I managed to get out last night. I came here for that reason. I just wasn’t going to turn myself in to the police station”, he told the police.
The sequence of events of the kidnapping attempt filmed
A security camera recorded the exact moment of the attempted kidnapping of a child in Guaianases, last Tuesday (16). The images shocked the population.
According to information from the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), two men boarded a taxi and instructed the driver on the route. When they arrived at Rua Moreira Neto, one of the suspects got out of the vehicle.
The recordings show the individual approaching a boy who was riding a bicycle. He then holds the child by the arms and tries to force him into the taxi. The action is abruptly interrupted by a pedestrian who notices the situation and intervenes.
The SSP also reports that the suspects tried to escape using the taxi, but the driver managed to turn off the car. The two men were then removed from the vehicle and attacked by residents who witnessed the incident.
