Lineup confirmed Curaçao x Ivory Coast at the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Curaçao and Ivory Coast entered the field with confirmed lineups for the decisive duel in the third round of Group E of the World Cup. The game, scheduled for 5pm (Brasília time) at Lincoln Financial Field, in Philadelphia, could decide who advances to the knockout stages.
Coach Dick Advocaat, the oldest coach in World Cup history, maintained the compact defensive block that worked in the draw against Ecuador. Eloy Room remains in goal, protected by a line of five with Joshua Brenet, Jurien Gaari, Armando Obispo, Sherel Floranus and Deveron Fonville. In the middle, Tahith Chong, Livano Comenencia, Leandro Bacuna (captain) and Juninho Bacuna provide support, with Jürgen Locadia isolated up front.
On the Ivory Coast side, coach Emerse Faé opted for a team with firepower in attack. Yahia Fofana is the goalkeeper. The defense has Guéla Doué, Ousmane Diomande, Odilon Kossounou and Christopher Operi. In the middle, Amad Diallo, Franck Kessié (captain), Ibrahim Sangaré and Yan Diomande. Up front, Nicolas Pépé and Ange-Yoan Bonny form the attacking duo.

Veteran Advocaat, who returned to command the Caribbean national team in May, is betting on tactical discipline to neutralize the Ivorian stars. On the other side, Faé has speed and technical quality to open the opponent’s defense.
