The Ultimate Edition of GTA 6: details of additional content
The Ultimate Edition is presented as the most comprehensive version of GTA 6, incorporating a variety of extra content throughout the campaign progression. Rockstar ensures that these bonuses will be fully integrated into Jason and Lucia’s narrative.
Among the main attractions are exclusive vehicles, such as the Grotti Cheetah (1995) and the Vapid Dominator Buggy, as well as a set of customized weapons. The extended edition also includes new workshops, secondary activities and special missions spread across the state of Leonida.
Purchasers will also enjoy access to unique commercial establishments, tattoos, never-before-seen clothing, new hairstyles, different types of boats, classic car collections and additional content linked to the factions that make up the game’s universe.
GTA 6 will be released on physical media, but in a digitized format
Yes, Rockstar confirmed the availability of GTA 6 on physical media on the release date, however, with a notable peculiarity in relation to conventional titles. Instead of a physical disc, the packaging will only contain a digital code to download the full game.
Although the company has not released an official justification for this decision, some key elements may have motivated the choice. Among the possible reasons, we highlight the precaution against content leaks before the premiere, the colossal volume of the game archive and the optimization of distribution logistics, benefiting both the company and the points of sale.
Another relevant factor is the reduction in production and transportation costs, since, with the likely size of the game approaching 200 GB, the inclusion of a digital code eliminates the requirement for multiple physical discs inside the packaging, making distribution more efficient.
GTA 6 release date and expectations for other platforms
Grand Theft Auto VI will be officially released on November 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar characterizes this initial release as a story mode-centric experience, and so far, no details have been released about a new GTA Online.
The computer version is still awaiting official confirmation. However, speculation and industry information indicate that the PC adaptation could hit the market in 2027, maintaining the staggered launch pattern already observed in other games from the developer.
Given these details, what are your expectations for GTA 6 and the version you plan to pre-order?
