Victim of intentional run-over receives request from attacker’s mother in Patrocínio Paulista not to report: love does that
The mother of the boy suspected of having intentionally run over his ex-girlfriend and her current partner, in Patrocínio Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo, requested that her son not be reported to the police. Through WhatsApp messages sent to her ex-daughter-in-law, the woman justified the young man’s action as an act motivated by love.
“Love does that, right? You know him, how when he’s angry he doesn’t accept provocation. He regrets it because he doesn’t want to hurt you”, declared the accused’s mother in the conversations.
Conversation records also reveal that the mother asked the victim to claim that the couple had suffered a motorcycle crash and offered to cover the costs of repairing the vehicle.
The screenshots were handed over to authorities, and the mother’s conduct will now also be subject to review during the investigation.

The history of aggression and the attack in Patrocínio Paulista
According to information from the Civil Police, the collision occurred in the early hours of Monday, on Avenida Diamante, in Patrocínio Paulista, a few hours after the driver discovered that his ex-girlfriend was in a new relationship.

Security cameras captured the exact moment the car hits the motorcycle on Avenida Diamante. The impact was so strong that the vehicle reared up, leaving two wheels in the air as it passed over the victims.

Suspicion of premeditation and history of video leaks
The victim’s mother attended the Legal Medical Institute (IML) with her daughter on Thursday (25) to undergo a forensic examination. Dalila Patrícia Ferreira, the young woman’s mother, stated that her ex-son-in-law acted premeditated.
“He was already waiting and there are cameras that prove it”, declared Dalila.
A security camera records the car passing over a motorcycle with two occupants in Patrocínio Paulista.
According to Dalila, the couple’s relationship ended at the end of 2025, but the suspect never accepted the end of the relationship.
“He didn’t accept the end of the relationship, he leaked intimate videos of her. When it happened now that she was already in a relationship with someone else, he didn’t accept it. He went to her house to remove some belongings that he had given her as gifts, in a way to get the relationship back, and she made it very clear that it wouldn’t work anymore”, reported Dalila, detailing her history of persecution and previous attacks.
The victim’s mother expresses her hope for justice in the case.
