This Sunday (28), the Formula 1 scene moves to Spielberg, where the eagerly awaited Austrian Grand Prix takes place. The race takes place on the iconic Red Bull Ring circuit, a layout that challenges drivers with its combination of high demand for traction, aerodynamic efficiency and marked elevation variations. George Russell secured the most privileged starting position, with Kimi Antonelli starting the race from fourth place.
The route totals 4,326 kilometers and includes ten curves, seven of which are to the right and three to the left. Competitors will face 71 laps, totaling a distance of 307.018 kilometers. The official lap record belongs to Oscar Piastri, set at 1min07s924 during the 2025 edition, an event won by Lando Norris.
The Formula 1 qualifying session, held on Saturday (27), saw George Russell, from the Mercedes team, achieve his fourth pole position in seven races this season. The front row of the grid is completed by Charles Leclerc, from Ferrari. The second row will have Leclerc’s Ferrari teammate, Lewis Hamilton, and Kimi Antonelli, Mercedes driver and current championship leader. Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto will start in 12th position.
