Woman is detained in Ceará for intimate video with teenager to make ex-partner jealous

A 27-year-old woman was arrested in Ceará, on charges of rape of a vulnerable person, after recording an intimate video with a 13-year-old teenager. The motivation for the recording, which took place on *Wednesday, July 8*, was to provoke jealousy in a former partner, as revealed by investigations.

The images were recorded on *Wednesday, July 8th*, while the arrest of the suspect was carried out on *Saturday, July 18th*, ten days after the incident. The incident was recorded in the municipality of Aurora, located in the interior of Ceará.

The investigation indicates that the young man was unaccompanied at his home when the woman went to the location to make the recordings. Subsequently, the content was published on several messaging applications, generating great commotion and intense repercussions among the local inhabitants.

The Aurora Municipal Police Station opened an investigation to investigate what happened and announced that police teams are still in the field, carrying out essential steps to fully clarify the facts.

Brazilian legislation establishes that any act of sexual intercourse or libidinous practice with individuals under the age of 14 constitutes the crime of rape of a vulnerable person. This legal definition applies regardless of whether or not the victim consented.
