Learn more about the game Foretales and its narrative proposal
Developed by the Alkemi studio, Foretales is characterized as a card-based narrative experience. The game incorporates deck-building mechanics, turn-based combat and a style reminiscent of a board game, inviting participants to a unique journey in a fantasy world, where each character is represented by a card with their own attributes.
Alkemi created a plot that immerses players in a universe threatened by a dark prophecy. The premise involves decisive choices as the apocalypse approaches, leaving the responsibility of deciding the fate of the remaining time in the player’s hands. The title achieved an 86% positive rating on the Steam platform and can now be downloaded for free by all Epic Games Store users.
Upcoming free releases on the Epic Games store
Even if Foretales is not to your liking, Epic Games will maintain its tradition of making free games available to those who play on computers. The company has already confirmed the next titles that will be offered the following week: OTXO, a violent shooter with a top-down view and roguelite elements, and Sol Cesto, a tactical experience that requires that “mastering luck is fundamental”. Both games will be available on the Epic Games Store from July 30th.
