Renowned actor Terry Crews, 57, shared details about his first interaction with footballer Vinicius Jr., 26, in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting took place at the emblematic Christ the Redeemer, one of the most famous postcards of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, on July 23, 2026.

The Hollywood actor not only revealed the interaction between them, but also detailed the experience and expressed admiration for the Brazilian athlete.

“Although it was our first meeting, I felt like I was seeing a younger brother and a long-time friend again. The affection and admiration were reciprocal and instantaneous. I am fully convinced that this is the genesis of a friendship that will last a lifetime”, declared Crews on his social networks.

In the comments section of the publication, Vinicius Jr. reacted with an iconic phrase from the series “Todo Mundo Odeio o Chris”: “I love you, Julius”. This moment takes us back to the World Cup, when a meme comparing the player to the character Latrell, from the film “The White Girls”, gained popularity.

Digital influencer Virginia Fonseca was also present at the same tourist spot alongside the Brazilian national team star. She published a set of images from her visit to Christ the Redeemer, including a photo where she appears posing with Vini Jr.

Although the two confirmed the end of their relationship in May this year, they have been frequently seen together in recent times, sparking speculation about a possible reconciliation that has not yet been made official.
