Burger King is implementing new features in service within its restaurants. The changes come after the fast-food chain spent months collecting customer complaints through an initiative that allowed people to call or text the company’s president directly.
The fast-food company released two important updates focused on resolving the issues most frequently raised by consumers: incorrect orders and the difficulty in getting help within stores.
To improve customer support, the network launched a new function, called Your Way Champion. This is a revamped management role, created to offer consumers a clear and direct point of contact whenever there is a problem.
The company reported that these employees will be easily identifiable by their Your Way Champion uniforms. They will be responsible for greeting customers, checking order accuracy, and resolving issues in real time.
Burger King is also implementing the “Whopper Guarantee,” a commitment to remake its iconic sandwich if it is not delivered hot or prepared exactly as ordered.
Customers who receive a Whopper that does not meet their expectations will be entitled to an immediate replacement and a free Whopper on their next visit, the company assured.
“When we asked customers where we could improve, they gave us very honest feedback, and now it’s our responsibility to act on it,” Tom Curtis, president of Burger King for the United States and Canada, said in a statement. He added: “We won’t get everything right all the time, but we are committed to listening carefully and improving every day.”
The news is the result of Burger King’s “Listening Initiative”, launched earlier this year. This program invited consumers to share their opinions directly with Curtis. In an increasingly competitive fast-food market, customer satisfaction is a crucial differentiator for big brands like Burger King, which seek to maintain loyalty and attract new audiences.
