A new PlayStation 5 version of a famous RPG originally released for PSP is available for 50% off on the PlayStation Store, in a limited time offer. The game, titled Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, is a re-release of the 2004 classic from developer Nihon Falcom, marking the beginning of the renowned Trails series and featuring updated graphics. Its arrival on modern consoles is scheduled for September 2025.

This title, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, reached its lowest sales price on the PlayStation digital store during this promotion. The limited time condition of the offer makes the opportunity even more relevant for interested parties.

Users of the PlayStation 5 console can purchase Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter for US$29.99, a value that represents the lowest price recorded on the PlayStation Store for this game since its debut ten months ago.

The official synopsis invites players to follow Estelle Bright and her adopted brother, Joshua, on their journey as budding bracers seeking advancement in their acclaimed peacekeeping guild. The plot, which begins with a simple mission to demonstrate your skills, evolves into a saga full of emotion, mystery and danger, as the protagonists uncover a plot that threatens their nation.

The promotional period will end on July 30, 2026. After that date, the price of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will return to its full price of US$59.99.

As it is an exclusive single-player game, there is no need to have a PS Plus subscription to enjoy it. However, Premium plan subscribers can choose to play the title via cloud streaming.
