WhatsApp offers new design for message bubbles in iOS update
After the development phase, WhatsApp began distributing a redesigned interface for message bubbles, reaching testers and some users of the official version on the iOS system. The change aims to improve users’ visual experience.
The new conversation bubbles feature corners with a softer, more rounded shape, moving away from the previous look and giving the platform a more current aesthetic, which is in line with modern application design trends.
For media messages sent in individual chats, there has been a notable change: the border around the content has been removed, displaying only the image or video in question.

However, media that is forwarded or shared in groups maintains a border at the top. This border serves to indicate the forwarding or authorship of the submission, as applicable.

Although it seems like a small change, the new feature contributes to the general modernization of the application’s interface. Message bubbles in particular have maintained an unchanged style for a long time.
