The Modern Warfare 4 beta testing period will have its first weekend between August 21st and 25th. This initial stage is exclusive to players who pre-purchase the title on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 consoles and computers. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2, however, will only be released after this first test ends.
A second phase of testing will be accessible to all interested parties, without the requirement for pre-order. This period will run from August 28th to September 1st, covering the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and the new Nintendo Switch 2 platforms.
The game’s performance on the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2 console generates great expectations. This is mainly because Activision chose not to support the previous generation PlayStation 4, whose processing power is often compared to that of the Switch 2.
