Galatasaray, from Turkey, presented a proposal of 45 million euros (equivalent to R$269 million) for striker Gabriel Martinelli, who currently plays for Arsenal, in England, according to a report carried out on August 13, 2026.
Previous information already indicated that the Gunners intend to negotiate the Brazilian player, seeking to finance the signing of a new offensive talent to play on the left wing.
Recently, the English club showed interest in another Brazilian, Vinicius Jr., but the athlete chose to renew his contract with Real Madrid.

Among the other names that the Londoners have under consideration are Bradley Barcola, from Paris Saint-Germain, and Pedro Neto, from Chelsea.
In this transfer window, Arsenal has already reinforced its squad with a winger, the Greek Christos Tzolis, acquired for 40 million euros (R$ 239 million) from Brugge, who filled the vacancy left by Leandro Trossard, transferred to Besiktas.
Arsenal now need to decide whether to accept Galatasaray’s offer for Martinelli. The English club’s expectation was to obtain a minimum amount of 50 million euros (approximately R$299 million) for the transfer.

Gabriel Martinelli still has one year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium, with a weekly salary of £180,000 (around R$1.259 million). The British team has the option of extending this contract for another year, extending it until mid-2028.
Martinelli’s acceptance to play in Turkish football is still uncertain, as the personal terms of the negotiation were not discussed between the parties.
The Brazilian striker participated in the last World Cup and has accumulated 191 games and 41 goals for Arsenal since his signing in 2019, when he arrived from Ituano for just 6 million pounds (equivalent to R$42 million at the current price).

Another player who could leave the Emirates in the coming days is full-back Ben White, especially if the Gunners opt to move forward with a possible move for Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa.
Arsenal have shown a strong interest in the England defender in recent weeks, but have not yet formalized an official offer.
