Xiaomi 18 Pro with second rear screen will be launched internationally for the first time
Xiaomi made it official, on July 24, 2026, that the 18 Pro model will be launched in global markets, putting an end to the Chinese exclusivity of a feature that excited many consumers. The cutting-edge smartphone will maintain the innovative second screen on its back, a feature present in the previous version, which was previously restricted only to China.
According to data provided by the manufacturer, the international variant, identified by the number 26122PN61G, will be available in several regions such as Türkiye, Russia, Japan and Taiwan. However, India was the only nation that did not enter into the distribution plans.
The secondary screen functionality was initially introduced on the Xiaomi 17 Pro, attracting great interest as it allows you to view alerts, use small applications and even capture self-portraits with the device’s main cameras.

Despite positive acceptance, the previous generation never officially reached the public outside Chinese territory. Now, Xiaomi is expanding this feature to the global market, marking its international debut.
The company itself had already guaranteed, at the beginning of 2025, that the auxiliary screen would continue to be present in the new generation, consolidating its strategy in an exclusive attribute, rarely found among current competitors.
In addition to its unique design, the Xiaomi 18 Pro must be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, a high-performance architecture developed for premium cell phones.
For photography, the device will incorporate two 200-megapixel SmartSens sensors. The main camera will be equipped with a 1/1.28 inch LOFIC 3.0 sensor, and a second sensor with the same capacity will be used in another lens in the rear camera system.
The device should also feature a new physical button specific to artificial intelligence, which can be activated for features linked to the camera and other intelligent options of the operating system.

Xiaomi seeks to expand the success of the previous version on a global scale
Expansion to other countries is seen as a strategic step by the manufacturer to strengthen its participation in the high-end device segment.
According to information released by the brand itself, the Xiaomi 17 series sold 5.08 million devices in China by the 22nd week of 2026. The current expectation is that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be able to replicate this good result on a global stage.
However, until now, Xiaomi has not released the exact launch date or sales prices for international markets.
