Perez Hilton showed no signs of distress in the weeks leading up to worrying behavior displayed on a live broadcast, which culminated in a police intervention. The gossip mogul’s most recent posts on social media were mostly positive and had a religious nature.
Over the last month, the internet personality published two videos on Instagram, in which he shared with his followers reflections on biblical passages he was reading.
Moments of tranquility and faith on social media
On July 22, Perez published about a biblical passage that touched him deeply, showing a smile as he recited verses focused on the theme of the work.
On the occasion, he even made a comparison with the artist Rihanna, mentioning to admirers that the Bible encouraged “Work, Work, Work, Work, Work”, just like in the lyrics of one of the singer’s songs, but that this advice had already existed for centuries.
Perez Hilton displayed a similar energy in another video posted on Instagram, a few days before the one mentioned, where he read a book of Gospel testimonies.
Emergency actions after alarming transmission
Apparently, the reality of Perez’s life was more complex than he publicly showed. Recently, law enforcement authorities were called to his residence in the Miami area following reports that he was exhibiting alarming behavior on a live broadcast.
Police sources reported that he was transported from his home to a hospital. A live video Perez released on TikTok apparently showed him with visible signs of bleeding.
Perez Hilton gained notoriety in the early 2000s with his celebrity gossip website. He later established himself as a television figure, recognized for his coverage of Hollywood’s biggest personalities and controversies. He is currently the father of three children.
