Stedman Bailey, former NFL player, is arrested with woman for public sex in mall

Police officers in Pembroke Pines, Florida, arrested former NFL player Stedman Bailey and a woman after reports that they had engaged in a sexual act in public inside an arcade located at the Pembroke Lakes shopping center.

The case was registered in the early hours of July 27, at approximately 12:30 am, at the establishment known as Round1, according to information released by the local police.

Stedman Bailey, 35 years old and resident of Miramar, is the former athlete involved, accused of committing the act in public alongside Karina Manderson, the same age and resident of Pembroke Pines.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department reported that the team was called to Round1 after witnesses reported that a couple was having sex at the local bar.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities analyzed security camera footage. The recordings showed Karina Manderson “bent over at the waist” and Stedman Bailey positioned behind her. A witness told investigators that he saw the pair in the middle of a sexual act and, when he intervened and asked them to stop, Bailey quickly adjusted his pants, and they both slowly left the bar.

During interrogation, both Bailey and Manderson confessed to having consumed several doses of alcohol at the bar. Investigators reported that Bailey acknowledged that “they both had their pants down” and that he exposed himself, but denied that penetration occurred.

The police also clarified that they found no evidence that the drinks of those involved had been altered or adulterated.

Consequently, the two were arrested the same morning and formally charged with the crime of indecent exposure.

Stedman Bailey is a well-known former NFL athlete, where he played wide receiver for three seasons, between 2013 and 2015, defending the St. Louis Rams. He entered the professional league after being selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Bailey’s career was interrupted in 2015, when he was shot in a parked car in Miami Gardens. Despite having recovered from his injuries, the incident motivated him to step away from professional football, marking his early retirement.

Prior to his time at West Virginia University, Bailey received his education in South Florida, attending Miami Carol City Senior High in Miami-Dade County and Miramar High School in Broward County.
