The Epic Games Store can now be accessed as an alternative store on iPhone devices in Brazil. Although an application for the platform exists in the App Store, its function is only to authenticate accounts and purchase computer titles. The arrival of this store in the country is a direct consequence of a measure by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), which determined the opening of the iOS system to other competitors, enabling the download of applications outside the traditional App Store.

Is installing apps outside the App Store safe?
All platforms go through a rigorous Apple verification process, with the aim of preventing malware and any type of fraud. However, it is essential that users check the reliability of third-party stores before downloading.
For those looking for the Fortnite game, the Epic Games Store represents the official download channel and has its own security systems. Thus, it is a reliable alternative for fans of the popular battle game.
If you are interested in trying out installing applications outside the official store, other platform options are available for iPhone in Brazil, such as AltStore PAL.
