Google launches Pixel 11, Watch 5, Pixel Tag and Gemini innovations in 2026
Google showcased its latest Pixel device lineup and improved features during its “Made by Google 2026” event. The company unveiled the Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, a new item tracker that competes with Apple’s AirTag, Pixel Tag, and several Gemini features powered by artificial intelligence in its products.
Gemini innovations on Pixel devices
Gemini artificial intelligence and other AI features received considerable attention at the event, with a focus on their integration into the brand’s devices.
Among the most important accessibility news is the expansion of “Live Transcribe” (Instant Transcription), which now includes support for American Sign Language (ASL). Using the camera on Pixel smartphones, users can now have sign language converted into text, offering a new mode of communication that does not require typing.
Google also introduced “Rambler,” a voice input feature designed to more effectively interpret natural human communication. Unlike systems that require structured sentences, Rambler can process continuous conversations, filler words and less formal speech, identifying the user’s intention.

The standard Pixel 11 model arrives with a redesigned camera bar that is notably thinner compared to the previous generation. Google reported that the new bar is more than 40% thinner and features a glass surface that spans the entire width of the device. The company has also increased the base storage to 256GB, doubling the previous initial capacity.
The launch price of the Pixel 11 was set at US$899, which represents a US$100 increase over the Pixel 10. This adjustment is due to the discontinuation of the 128 GB storage option and the persistent shortage in the supply of RAM memory.
The Pixel 11 will be available for purchase in Frost, Hibiscus, Pistachio and Obsidian colors.
Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models with more durability
Google reinforces durability as a key aspect in the Pro line of its smartphones. The company claims that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL models offer greater drop resistance and a new anti-scratch coating on the screen, resulting in more than double the protection against scratches compared to the Pixel 10 Pro models.

The Pixel 11 Pro’s starting price is set at $1,099, an increase from the Pixel 10 Pro’s $999.
The devices will be available in Canyon, Fog, Olive and Obsidian colors, with the Obsidian option featuring a fully matte finish this year.
What to expect from the improved Pixel 11 Pro Fold
Google indicated that the new foldable smartphone is almost 10% lighter and approximately 1 millimeter thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It also has thinner bezels, a 48 megapixel main camera and a 30x Super Zoom feature.
The company has also improved water and dust resistance, maintaining the IP68 standard introduced on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold now uses a fiberglass composite back cover, designed to better resist cracks, and a redesigned hinge that provides additional protection for the screen inside. Google claims that these modifications make the new model three times more durable than its predecessor.

Google launches Pixel Tag to compete with Apple’s AirTag
Finally, Google launched its own tracking tag. Named Pixel Tag, this small device aims to help users locate items such as keys, wallets and luggage. It integrates with Android’s Find Hub network, allowing users to view the tag’s location through the Find Hub app, working similarly to Apple’s Find My.
The label, costing US$29 (or US$99 for a pack of four), can also be located from a Pixel Watch. Pixel Buds owners can trigger Gemini to locate or make a Pixel Tag make sound, adding a voice control option for finding objects.

The Pixel Watch 5 has received several health-focused updates. The Google Health app will now offer monthly summaries of blood pressure trends, seeking to help users identify patterns over time. Additionally, the device will provide monthly summaries on insulin resistance trends. The 41mm Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399, while the 45mm version starts at $429. Google is also offering a special Stephen Curry edition for $579, with a unique workout-focused design.
