POCO finalizes preparations for the launch of the new F9 series, confirming that the F9 Ultra and F9 Pro models will bring important innovations. The sub-brand promises that this will be the most advanced line of smartphones it has ever built, aiming for a leap in performance and features.
The big difference in the technical sheet is the debut of the first photographic module with a 200 MP main sensor in the manufacturer’s history. This high resolution is designed to capture images with extreme clarity, allowing deep cuts and edits in post-production without noticeable loss of quality.
In addition to improvements in photography, the company guaranteed that the POCO F9 Ultra will come equipped with a battery with a nominal capacity of 8,050 mAh. The device will also be compatible with the 100W HyperCharge fast charging system via cable.
Official data released in brand previews indicate that the combination of battery and charging provides more than 29 hours of continuous browsing on social networks. Additionally, it offers up to 18 hours of GPS navigation use and more than 12 hours of continuous video calling.
The design of the new flagship will feature a screen with a central hole for the front camera, and the version revealed by the company features a burgundy red rear finish. For the sound experience, both the Ultra and F9 Pro models will have speakers optimized in partnership with Bose.
Information shared by leaker Abhishek Yadav suggests launch prices in the Philippines. The most robust version of the POCO F9 Ultra, with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, would cost ₱89,999 (approximately R$7,475). The entry-level variant of the POCO F9 Pro, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of space, is priced at ₱49,999 (around R$4,155).
The official presentation of the POCO F9 line is scheduled for September 1st. At that time, the manufacturer must provide complete details about global availability and prices for other markets.
