PlayStation reveals GTA VI themed controls with design inspired by Vice City

New limited edition accessories for the PlayStation 5 have been announced, bringing the atmosphere of Vice City into the hands of gamers. Sony Interactive Entertainment presented two models of the DualSense wireless controller inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI, the eagerly awaited next chapter in the franchise. Fans will be able to purchase these exclusive versions from November 19th, with pre-orders starting September 10th.

Themed controls celebrate Vice City style

Both DualSense controllers, available in black and white, seek to capture the essence of the iconic Vice City. Each edition has a shimmering color-changing finish, uniting the hues of local sunsets with the vibrant glow of the fictional city’s neon lights. Custom palm tree details molded directly into the controller shell add a unique tactile touch alongside official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.

The white version, called DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition, evokes the landscape of Vice City at dawn. It recalls the white sand beaches and pastel-colored skies, embodying the relaxed glamor of the place. The DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition, in black, reflects the pulsating energy of the city’s nightlife, with its characteristic shine.

An even greater immersion with DualSense in the universe of Grand Theft Auto VI

The DualSense wireless controller, known for its innovations, promises to elevate the gaming experience in Grand Theft Auto VI. Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, the device’s signature features, will instantly respond to in-game actions. This technology seeks to translate the images, sounds and sensations of Jason and Lucia’s narrative directly into the player’s hands, intensifying the immersion in the city of Leonida. This DualSense capability could be a crucial differentiator for Rockstar Games to deliver an even more realistic and immersive experience, something expected by fans of the series.
