Packages of sweets were withdrawn from circulation in 13 states, covering regions such as Ohio and Indiana, after the discovery of an allergen that was not listed on their packaging. The preventive measure was announced on September 1, 2026.
According to a recall report from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Crystal Temptations brand products called “Chocolately Eyeballs” were affected.
