Mycopunk expands the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog with new cooperative action
The title Mycopunk, published by Devolver Digital, will be included in the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog in 2026. This game presents itself as a cooperative first-person shooter, where robots are sent to combat a fungal threat. Each team member has unique skills, and it is possible to customize weapons and equipment with various modifications.
Sony has not provided an exact release date or confirmed how long Mycopunk will remain available. Like other inclusions in the Extra and Deluxe plans, access to the game depends on an active subscription and can be terminated after it is removed from the catalog.
Classic Mega Man X: Command Mission arrives on PlayStation Plus Deluxe
In mid-September, the PlayStation Plus Deluxe catalog of classics will receive the acclaimed Mega Man X: Command Mission. Originally released in 2004, this innovative title swaps the franchise’s traditional side-to-side action for a combat and progression system inspired by turn-based RPGs.
In the plot, Mega Man X embarks on an investigation into a rebellion in Giga City, with the help of well-known characters such as Zero and Axl. Strategic turn-based battles, customizable equipment and new transformations distinguish this project from the main chapters of the series, offering a unique experience for fans.
Jurassic adventure returns with Dino Crisis 2 on the Deluxe plan
Another major addition confirmed for PlayStation Plus Deluxe is Dino Crisis 2, a Capcom classic that was present on the first PlayStation. The sequel will be available at the end of 2026, although Sony has not yet released a specific date for its inclusion.
The game is known for its fast pace, a wide range of weapons and continuous confrontations against dinosaurs. Protagonist Regina returns to the operation, now accompanied by Dylan Morton, on a crucial mission to rescue survivors and recover vital information. With this inclusion, Dino Crisis 2 will join the first chapter, already present in the classics collection, allowing PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscribers to enjoy both main games in the franchise on PS4 and PS5.
