ATLUS announced on September 9, 2026, at 10:51 AM EDT that Persona 4 Revival will release on Switch 2 on May 20, 2027. This Nintendo rollout takes place three months after the title reaches other platforms.

A serial killer terrorizes the rural Japanese town of Inaba as local rumors spread regarding an eerie television broadcast that appears exclusively during rainy nights. Unexplained phenomena soon turn a normal academic calendar into an extensive supernatural trial for local teenagers.
The academic setting at Yasogami High School gives players freedom to attend classes, take part-time jobs, join sports teams, and build relationships with classmates throughout Inaba.
Homicide cases shake the community whenever fog descends, leaving victims hanging from electrical transmission towers and rooftop structures. Inhabitants whisper the urban legend that looking into a blank screen on rainy nights reveals a future partner, a phenomenon that ultimately draws the protagonists into a television realm where they awaken entities known as Personas.
Combat relies on elemental weaknesses.
