Band of Brothers returns with a 25th anniversary special

Directed by Stephen Ambrose and produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, DreamWorks, and HBO, the 10-episode drama marks its 25th anniversary in 2026 after detailing historical milestones from Pearl Harbor and D-Day through intense combat across Carentan and Bastogne to Nazi concentration camps in Germany, earning nearly a dozen awards and multiple nominations.

HBO scheduled the premiere of Band of Brothers: Legacy for September 9 on its streaming platform as a special documentary to commemorate the milestone.
