Samsung deploys 1.2GB One UI 9 Beta 7 to Galaxy S26 devices
Samsung released a fresh beta build of its One UI 9 operating system for the Galaxy S26 lineup on August 28, 2026. This release represents the seventh testing rollout that the manufacturer has deployed for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Weighing in at more than 1.2GB, this seventh One UI 9 beta deployment features a firmware build ending in the characters ZZHK while delivering a wide collection of operational enhancements across supported hardware.
Fresh customization features arrived. Even without explicit notation inside the official changelog, the beta build incorporates distinct capabilities that Samsung previously introduced on its Galaxy Z Fold8 foldable devices, bringing personalized cards into Now Brief alongside the dedicated My FanCam camera tool. The software also introduces unified home screen widgets that merge Finder and Google Search into a single interface for user convenience.
Regional availability for the One UI 9 Beta 7 software covers active testers located in South Korea, India, Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom. Enrolled members who have not yet received the automatic prompt can trigger the installation manually by navigating to the software update section within their smartphone settings menu.
