Charlotte Lawrence balances tour dates and television return
The 26-year-old singer Charlotte Lawrence performs at Radio City Music Hall in New York on September 24 as part of a tour promoting her album Somewhere with musician Suki Waterhouse.
Return to television comedy in December
The Los Angeles native reprises her role as Caitlin opposite actor Vince Vaughn in the second season of the crime comedy series Bad Monkey on Apple TV.
She described the character’s upcoming path as “bigger, messier and a lot more emotional” following production for the streaming network.
Family ties across major television productions
Her family maintains a steady presence across television comedy programming. Her father, Bill Lawrence, writes and produces projects including Ted Lasso, Scrubs and Shrinking. Her mother, Christa Miller, stars as Liz on Shrinking and oversees music supervision across all three series.
Concert dates and road performances
Lawrence completed a series of live dates alongside Sombr earlier this year before joining Waterhouse on the road.
She called that earlier run “the most fun experience of my life!” The Tongue Tied performer now focuses her work on touring.
Visual influences and personal stage fashion
Lawrence develops her performance wardrobe around aesthetics linked to four primary entertainment figures:
- Anita Pallenberg
- Jane Birkin
- The Rolling Stones
- Kate Moss
Away from the concert stage, the musician prioritizes personal ease over formal fashion standards by wearing casual daytime clothing whenever possible, while balancing her hectic schedule of travel, vocal rehearsals, and promotional appearances between multiple major entertainment cities. “If I can get away with wearing pajamas in the daytime, that’s usually what I do,” Lawrence said. She prefers practical apparel.
