Samsung debuts Galaxy A08 with 6,000mAh battery and dual camera
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A08 through its official online store in Ukraine. The entry-level smartphone features a 6,000mAh battery alongside a 50-megapixel primary camera.

The handset operates on Android 16 through the custom One UI 8 interface, and Samsung guarantees long-term system software support until 2032 for consumers who purchase the new dual SIM device across designated international retail sales channels. A dual SIM slot accommodates two cellular network connections simultaneously. The internal architecture relies on a 6nm manufacturing design.
Processing hardware and expandable internal storage
Under the hood, an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chip powers the system. The processor combines two performance cores reaching clock speeds of 2.2GHz with six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
Memory allocation includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which expands up to 2TB through a microSD card slot.
Display dimensions and panel refresh rates
The front panel features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD touchscreen display. It renders visuals at HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. The screen supports refresh rates reaching 120Hz and reproduces 16 million colors.
Camera sensors for photography and recording
The rear camera arrangement pairs a 50-megapixel primary lens with a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. The main sensor features an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and up to 10x digital magnification.
Selfies rely on an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The setup records HD video at speeds reaching 120 fps. The secondary sensor on the back utilizes an f/2.4 aperture for auxiliary measurements.

The company set the price at UAH 10,699 for the single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. That figure equates to approximately Rs. 23,000 in international currency conversions. Buyers can select the phone in Dark Blue, Green, or Silver exterior finishes.
The device measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 8 millimeters and weighs 197 grams.
