Apple released the second developer beta of iOS 27.2 under build 24B5089g for iPhone models on Tuesday at its Cupertino headquarters. The software deployment arrived alongside matching testing builds for iPadOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2 tagged as build 26B5091g, watchOS 27.2 identified by build number 24S5091f, and visionOS 27.2 compiled under reference code 24N5093f.
These installation files target authorized members of the Apple Developer Program.
The company simultaneously distributed a third Release Candidate evaluation build for macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 carrying the identifier 25G313. Technicians also issued a second matching build for macOS Sequoia 15.8.1 logged under reference 24H212.
Operating system upgrades expand assistant features
The new system packages introduce dedicated utilities that missed the initial commercial release of the 27 series. These tools expand everyday workflows across MacBook Pro computers. Engineers also optimized functionality for Apple Vision Pro headsets.
The iOS 27.2 bundle includes full Portuguese language support for the virtual assistant Siri AI. In addition, the Health application received an extensive internal interface reorganization.

Siri received dedicated functional upgrades.
Software developers refined core operations across Apple voice command routines. A separate setting now permits controlled data sharing between installed applications across connected devices.
Eligible iPhone units receive these operational settings.
Deployment plan aligns software updates across handsets
The intermediate iOS 27.1 release remains exclusive to owners of the iPhone Duo. All other compatible devices will jump directly to iOS 27.2 to synchronize software versions across the product lineup.
