PSV Aos 32 minutes into the second half, the score reads 3-1 for the Dutch, with goals from Perisic (penalty), Guus Til and Driouech. Liverpool had drawn with Szoboszlai in the first half, but conceded two quick goals after the break and another shortly after substitutions.
The match started with PSV dominating. Logo in the 3rd minute, Van Dijk committed a penalty by going up with his arm open, and Perisic converted. Liverpool reacted with intense pressure and equalized after 15 minutes, when Szoboszlai took advantage of a rebound from Gakpo. The first half ended 1-1, with Reds dominating the action.
In the second half, the scenario changed. Guus Til received a pass from Mauro Júnior and scored PSV’s second in the 10th minute. Driouech, who came on at 24, made the third at 27 after Pepi rebounded off the post. Liverpool tried to react with Chiesa and other changes, but failed to decrease until the 33rd minute.

Liverpool’s reaction still has no effect

The substitutions also gave immediate results: Pepi and Driouech came on in the 24th minute and participated directly in the third goal three minutes later.

PSV, which reached the round in 24th place with five points, is gaining important momentum in the fight for a place in the playoffs. Já Liverpool, who came from a victory over Real Madrid, sees direct classification for the round of 16 further away with the partial defeat.
Game remains open at Anfield
At 33 minutes of the second half, the match remains disputed. Liverpool maintains more possession of the ball and presses in search of the second goal. PSV closes down well and seeks to exploit the spaces left by the opposing defense.
Kovár already made important saves in the second half, including a header from Gakpo and a shot from Mac Allister. The fans in Anfield increase the volume with each attack from Reds, but the score remains in favor of the visitors so far.
