The off-road motorcycle market in the Brasil receives an important reinforcement with the official announcement of the Honda. The manufacturer presented the new CRF 300F, a model that succeeds the successful CRF 250F, promising to raise the standard of performance in the category. The motorcycle, produced in the industrial hub of Manaus (AM), will be available at the brand’s dealerships from September, consolidating the company’s strategy of strengthening its presence in the segment.

With a suggested public price of R$24,027, not including shipping or insurance expenses, the CRF 300F is positioned as a competitive option for trail enthusiasts and rural workers. The model will be sold exclusively in red, maintaining the visual identity of the Honda competition line. The proposal is to offer a robust vehicle, with affordable maintenance and better performance than its predecessor.

The evolution in relation to the CRF 250F is notable, with the new generation bringing an engine with greater cubic capacity, six-speed gearbox and a completely renewed design, directly inspired by the brand’s high-performance motocross models. The expectation is that the CRF 300F will attract everyone from beginners to more experienced riders looking for reliable equipment for leisure or amateur competitions.

Renewed engine for greater performance

The main highlight of the Honda CRF 300F is its new engine. Trata has a 293.5 cm³ OHC single-cylinder engine, with air cooling and oil cooler, which already powers other successful models of the brand, such as the CB 300F Twister and the XRE 300 Sahara. With PGM-FI electronic injection and electric start, the unit delivers 24.6 hp of power at 7,500 rpm and 2.59 kgfm of torque at 6,000 rpm, representing significant gains of 11% in power and 13.6% in torque when compared to the CRF 250F.

This additional strength translates into faster throttle responses, especially at low and mid-range rpm, an essential feature for overcoming obstacles on technical trails. Outra fundamental evolution is the adoption of a six-speed gearbox, which replaces the five-speed gearbox of the previous model. The new transmission allows better scaling, optimizing power delivery on different types of terrain and providing more comfort on higher speed sections. The transmission set was adjusted with a 14-tooth pinion, aiming to improve off-road performance.

Competition-inspired design and ergonomics

The look of the CRF 300F has been completely redesigned, seeking alignment with the identity of motorcycles in the competition line, such as the powerful CRF 450R. The side fins that protect the 6-liter fuel tank have been redesigned, giving them a more aggressive and modern appearance, complemented by new graphics. An important functional detail is the fixing of the side fairings with screws, which simplifies access for maintenance. The side stand has also been repositioned to offer greater practicality and stability when parking the motorcycle on uneven terrain. The ergonomics were designed to guarantee freedom of movement for the rider, with a narrow seat and handlebars positioned for maximum control, facilitating riding both seated and standing, a constant necessity when off-roading. With a dry weight of just 119 kg and a wheelbase of 1,417 mm, the bike promises agility and stability, maintaining the CRF line’s tradition of being an easy-to-maneuver, yet robust vehicle to face the most severe challenges.

Improved chassis for difficult terrain

The structure of the CRF 300F is based on a semi-double steel cradle chassis, designed to offer the ideal combination of rigidity and flexibility, guaranteeing strength and agility. The chassis has been carefully adjusted to the new level of engine performance.

At the front, the suspension features a telescopic fork with 41 mm diameter tubes and 240 mm travel. Esse set received new calibrations to absorb impacts more efficiently, providing greater control and comfort to the pilot on rough terrain.

The rear suspension system is the renowned Pro-Link, with aluminum balance and shock absorber adjustable in spring preload, offering 230 mm of travel. Essa progressive configuration helps keep the rear wheel in contact with the ground, improving traction and stability in any condition.

The braking system was dimensioned to guarantee safety and precision, with “wave” type discs on both wheels, measuring 240 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear. The Pirelli Scorpion

Versatility for leisure and work

Honda designed the CRF 300F to be an extremely versatile motorcycle, capable of serving a wide range of users. Para off-road motorcycling enthusiasts, it presents itself as an ideal tool for weekend trails, group rides and even for participation in amateur enduro and regular rally competitions. Seu more powerful engine and refined chassis allow riders of different skill levels to explore their limits safely and with fun. The durability of the set and the low maintenance cost are factors that make it a smart choice for those who practice the sport frequently.

On the other hand, the model also stands out as a robust utility vehicle for rural environments. On farms, ranches and other properties, the CRF 300F serves as an agile and reliable means of transport to travel through difficult-to-access areas, inspect fences or monitor crops. Sua lightness and resistance allow you to overcome rough terrain where larger vehicles cannot reach. It is important to highlight that the CRF 300F is not approved for use on public roads, and its use is restricted to closed and private environments.

Positioning in the national market

With the launch of the CRF 300F, the Honda reinforces its absolute leadership in the Brazilian motorcycle market and, specifically, in the off-road segment. The strategy of producing the model in Manaus is crucial to guarantee a competitive final price and a wide availability of spare parts across its vast dealer network.

The model arrives to compete in a market range where reliability and cost-benefit are decisive. The motorcycle stands out for its purely off-road proposal, while some competitors seek a mixed-use profile. Essa specialization attracts an audience that values trail-specific performance.

The heritage of the CRF line, known worldwide for its durability and performance in competitions, adds intangible value to the new model. The Honda is betting that the combination of a stronger engine, modern design and the brand’s reputation will be enough to consolidate the CRF 300F as the new reference in its category in the Brasil.

Price and availability

The Honda CRF 300F arrives at dealerships throughout the Brasil from September. The model will be offered in a single version in red, with a suggested public price of R$24,027, based on the state of São Paulo and without including shipping and insurance costs. The motorcycle comes with a three-month warranty, with no mileage limit, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to product quality and durability.
