Xiaomi moved the technology market by officially presenting the new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro at China. The smartphone aims to redefine the premium mid-range segment, integrating cutting-edge specifications, such as the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and a battery with an impressive capacity of 7,550 mAh, the largest ever implemented in a device from the brand. The launch also stands out for its IP69 certification, which guarantees a superior level of resistance against water and dust, and for a special themed edition inspired by the universe of Harry Potter.

Designed to offer a long-lasting user experience and robust performance, the device combines gaming and multitasking power with battery life that can surpass multiple days of moderate use. The company’s strategy includes the global launch of the device under a new name, POCO F7, which should significantly expand its reach and competitiveness in international markets, including the Europa and the América Latina.

The device runs the new HyperOS 2.0 interface, based on Android 15, which introduces advanced artificial intelligence features. Entre features include image editing with object removal and simultaneous translation during calls, tools that add value for both ordinary users and professionals who depend on their cell phones for productivity tasks.

Performance boosted by new Snapdragon

At the heart of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is the Snapdragon 8s According to data from the Qualcomm, the CPU offers up to 31% higher performance compared to the previous generation, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, ensuring fluid operation even in the most demanding tasks. The Adreno 825 GPU, in turn, was designed to handle high-complexity graphics, making the smartphone an ideal platform for next-generation games, such as Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile, with stable frame rates and high visual quality. Para complement this power, the device is offered in configurations that reach up to 16 GB of RAM memory in the LPDDR5X standard and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage, ensuring extremely fast reading and writing speeds, which translates into almost instantaneous application launch and agile file transfers. The heat dissipation system has also been improved to maintain performance stability during prolonged sessions of intense use.

Battery and autonomy as differentiators

The highlight of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is, without a doubt, its 7,550 mAh battery. Essa capacity puts the device in a category by itself, promising autonomy that can easily exceed two days of conventional use. In more intense scenarios, preliminary tests indicate that the smartphone is capable of supporting approximately 10 continuous hours of gaming or up to 20 hours of internet browsing, numbers that make it a reliable option for users who spend long periods away from an outlet.

To accompany this enormous capacity, the Xiaomi implemented a 90W fast charging system, which allows the battery to be completely recharged in around 40 minutes. Outro notable feature is 22.5W reverse charging, which turns the phone into a portable power source for other gadgets such as wireless headphones or smartwatches. The HyperOS 2.0 interface contributes software optimizations that intelligently manage power consumption, reducing background application activity and preserving long-term battery health.

Premium design and robust construction

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro adopts a design language that prioritizes elegance and durability, with straight lines, flat edges and a finish that combines glass on the back with a metal structure. Essa combination gives the device a sophisticated look and premium touch feel. The device is available in three standard colors: black, white and green.

One of its main constructive differences is the IP68/IP69 certification. Enquanto the IP68 standard is already common in high-end models, the IP69 rating ensures protection against high pressure and temperature water jets, a rare feature in its price range. Isso makes the smartphone suitable for use in adverse conditions, such as heavy rain or very dusty environments.

Despite the large capacity battery, the Xiaomi’s engineering managed to keep the device with balanced dimensions, featuring a thickness of just 7.98 mm and a weight of 219 grams, which contributes to comfortable ergonomics for daily use.

An immersive display for games and media

The visual experience of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is guaranteed by a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, which offers sharp images and vibrant colors. The refresh rate of up to 120Hz provides extremely fluid navigation and improves responsiveness in competitive games. The panel reaches a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in direct sunlight, and supports technologies such as HDR to improve contrast and display quality in compatible content.

Artificial intelligence camera system

The device’s photographic set is led by a 50 MP main sensor. Este sensor has an aperture of f/1.5 and optical image stabilization (OIS), a combination that allows you to capture clear, detailed photos, especially in low-light environments, minimizing blur caused by shake.

Accompanying the main sensor is an 8 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture. Ela is ideal for capturing wide landscapes or photos of large groups, expanding the user’s creative possibilities. On the front, a 20 MP camera is responsible for high-quality selfies, with software enhancement features.

The HyperOS 2.0 interface integrates advanced artificial intelligence tools directly into the camera app. Funções such as removing unwanted objects from photos and automatic color and exposure adjustments simplify the editing process, allowing users to quickly achieve professional results.

In terms of video, the smartphone does not disappoint, offering support for recording in resolutions of up to 8K at 30 frames per second. Além also offers slow motion modes in 1080p at 960 fps, providing great flexibility for content creators looking to produce videos with cinematic effects.

The exclusive special edition Harry Potter

For fans of the iconic saga, Xiaomi has prepared the special edition Harry Potter of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Este model stands out for its personalized rear design, which combines shades of blue and red with a stylized illustration that refers to the magical universe. Customization extends to the software, with an interface that includes unique icons, wallpapers and notification sounds.

Available in a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, this themed version is a collector’s item. Although its initial launch is restricted to the Chinese market, the global popularity of the franchise may lead Xiaomi to make it available in other regions in the future.

Prices and arrival on the global market

At China, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is now available for purchase at competitive prices. The entry-level version, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, was launched for 1,999 yuan (approximately R$1,560 in direct conversion). The most complete model, with 16 GB and 1 TB, costs 2,999 yuan (about R$2,342). The Harry Potter edition has an intermediate price of 2,799 yuan (R$2,185).

The expectation is that the smartphone will be presented to the international market as POCO F7 in the coming months. The POCO F line is known for delivering flagship performance at a more affordable cost, and the new model should maintain this tradition, positioning itself as a strong competitor to other devices in the premium mid-range segment.
