The national two-wheel sector is going through a moment of significant renewal with the confirmation of a commercial offensive coming from the Ásia. Manufacturers CFMoto and Voge have defined a strategic schedule to introduce seven new vehicles on Brazilian streets throughout this year. The initiative encompasses a variety of categories, from urban scooters to high-displacement models aimed at adventure tourism, with the clear objective of competing for market share through robust technological packages and competitive prices.
The distribution strategy reveals different approaches to guarantee the presence of brands in the national territory. CFMoto plans to start sales in the first quarter, investing in a dealer network selected to serve regions with greater consumption potential. On the other hand, Voge opted for a partnership model that involves production in Manaus, a fundamental logistical maneuver to reduce import costs and ensure greater agility in the supply of parts and units for retail.
Details of line Voge
The Voge bets big on the high-displacement segment with the introduction of the DS900X, a big trail that positions itself as the brand’s technical highlight. The model is powered by an 895 cm³ engine capable of delivering 95 horsepower and 9.6 kgf.m of torque. Além of brute force, the motorcycle incorporates advanced riding assistance features, including a rear radar for monitoring blind spots, a quick shifter system for clutchless gear changes and four different riding modes.
For the intermediate mixed-use segment, the manufacturer brings the DS525X, equipped with a 494 cm³ twin-cylinder engine that generates 53.8 horsepower. The mechanical set prioritizes reliability with internationally renowned components, using an inverted front suspension from the KYB brand and a braking system with discs Nissin and ABS Bosch. Completando the trio, the SR4 Max scooter focuses on urban and road mobility with a 349.8 cm³ and 34 horsepower engine, offering comfort features such as heated seats and traction control as standard.
CFMoto news
CFMoto focuses its efforts on four models that share modern mechanical platforms but cater to completely different rider profiles. The adventure line receives the Ibex 450, a trail bike designed to tackle varied terrain thanks to its fully adjustable KYB suspension with 200 mm travel at the front. The engine uses a crankshaft with a 270° offset, a feature that favors torque delivery at low speeds and improves traction on uneven surfaces.
In the custom motorcycle niche, the brand introduces the 450CL-C and its Bobber variant, both focused on style and relaxed ergonomics. The standard version delivers 40.7 horsepower, while the Bobber configuration receives fine adjustments to the engine to reach 44 horsepower. At the top of the range presented, the Ibex 700, also known as 700MT, offers 68 horsepower extracted from a 693 cm³ engine, complemented by spoked wheels and full LED lighting, targeting the public looking for versatility for long trips.
Price and market positioning
The pricing policy announced by CFMoto suggests a fierce competition in the intermediate ranges of the market. Estimates indicate that the cruiser 450CL-C should reach stores priced between R$37,000 and R$39,000, while the Bobber version and the trail Ibex 450 range from R$39,000 to R$41,000. Já to Ibex 700, with greater cubic capacity and equipment, is expected to cost between R$49 thousand and R$53 thousand. Voge still keeps official values under wraps, but analysts expect figures in line with the premium proposition of its products.
Both manufacturers invest heavily in embedded technology to justify the added value of their products. The presence of colored TFT panels with smartphone connectivity, high-definition front cameras in specific models and braking systems signed by J.Juan reinforce the perception of quality. With the approval of models in the final phase and stocks being prepared, the Brazilian market is preparing for a year of intensified competition between Asian brands and traditional automakers.
