The two-wheel industry in Brasil receives an important update with the officialization of the new line of the country’s best-selling trail motorcycle. Produzida in Polo Industrial of The Japanese manufacturer is betting on specific design adjustments and the introduction of new aesthetic options to maintain the high volume of registrations recorded in recent cycles.
The renewed model seeks to meet a demanding consumer profile that needs versatility for daily commuting and occasional adventures on dirt roads. The brand’s commercial strategy focuses on durability and mechanical reliability, pillars that support its leadership in the entry-level trail segment in the face of increasingly fierce competition.
Visual renovation and convenience items
Entre The main aesthetic changes include the inclusion of the blue color Universe Blue, a new shade available exclusively for the version with combined brakes. The design of the fuel tank, which maintains a capacity of 12 liters, has been improved with new plastic protections. Essas redesigned fairings not only modernize the look, bringing it closer to the brand’s high-displacement motorcycles, but also offer greater resistance to impacts and natural wear.
Pensando in functionality and rider comfort, the new line incorporates a series of standard equipment essential for the modern routine:
– The optical assembly now has full LED lighting, providing greater safety and visibility when driving at night.
– Para maintain connectivity, a USB-C socket was installed on the panel, allowing quick recharging of smartphones.
– The digital panel adopts a blackout style, improving contrast and making information such as gear indicator and fuel consumption easier to read.
– Ergonomics have been preserved with the two-level seat positioned 836 mm from the ground, ideal for different heights.
Mechanical adjustments for efficiency and comfort
In terms of engine, the motorcycle maintains the renowned 162.7 cm³ single-cylinder FlexOne engine. The propellant delivers a maximum power of 14.3 horsepower at 8,000 rpm when fueled with ethanol, and a torque of 1.45 kgf.m at 5,500 rpm. Esses numbers guarantee agility in starting and resuming, crucial features for heavy traffic in large cities.
A relevant technical change was made to the five-speed transmission. Fifth gear was lengthened by 3.6%, a modification designed to reduce engine speed at cruising speeds. In practice, this translates into a more comfortable trip, with less vibration transmitted to the driver and an optimization in fuel consumption on highway sections.
The suspension set also underwent recalibration to better deal with the irregularities of the Brazilian asphalt. Travel remains at 180mm at the front and 150mm at the rear. Braking safety is guaranteed by two different systems: the entry-level version uses the combined system (CBS), while the top-of-the-line configuration offers the anti-lock system (ABS) on the front wheel, essential to avoid skidding on wet floors or emergency stops.
Values and competitive landscape
The market positioning of the new trail was defined with suggested prices that seek to balance cost-benefit. The CBS version starts at R$21,320, while the option with ABS starts at R$22,260, amounts that do not include shipping expenses. With this table, the brand aims to defend its territory against direct competitors such as the Yamaha Crosser 150 and the Haojue NK 150.
Apesar Although some rivals offer slightly lower prices, the manufacturer’s focus is on the capillarity of its network, which has more than a thousand dealerships spread across the country, and on the ease of resale and maintenance, decisive factors for the Brazilian consumer at the time of purchase.
