Availability at dealerships is scheduled to occur immediately, aiming to meet the continued demand for agile and economical personal transport vehicles. The manufacturer is committed to customer loyalty through the durability of the mechanical assembly and ease of resale, historical strengths of the NXR line in the national market.

Aesthetic renovation and functional design

The main visual change focuses on the color palette, where the new blue Universe Blue stands out as an exclusive option for the version with combined brakes (CBS). Além of the new paintwork, the model received updates to the side fairings of the fuel tank, which has a capacity of 12 liters. Estas parts were redesigned not only for aesthetic reasons, but to offer greater resistance to light impacts, common in daily use and on light trails.

The design of the new side fins seeks to bring the visual identity of the 160cc closer to the larger displacement models of the brand’s trail family. The texture and material used in the plastic protections aim to minimize risks and aesthetic damage resulting from mixed use, ensuring that the motorcycle maintains a preserved appearance for longer, even under adverse riding conditions.

Para is the top-of-the-line version with ABS brakes, the color options remain focused on sobriety and sportiness, with gray Tempestade Gray and traditional red. Visual differentiation between versions facilitates model identification and allows the consumer to choose the configuration that best suits their personal style and safety needs.

Motorization and energy efficiency

The heart of the motorcycle remains the reliable 162.7 cm³ single-cylinder OHC engine, air-cooled and equipped with FlexOne technology. Este propellant is capable of generating a maximum power of 14.3 hp at 8,000 rpm when fueled with ethanol, and 14.2 hp with gasoline. The maximum torque of 1.45 kgf.m is delivered at 5,500 rpm, offering agility in urban sprints and enough strength to overcome obstacles on uneven terrain.

One of the technical highlights is the five-speed gearbox, which received a specific adjustment in the fifth gear ratio. The 3.6% lengthening in this gear aims to reduce engine speed at cruising speeds, which results in less vibration, greater comfort for the driver on short trips and an optimization of fuel consumption on highways.

The PGM-FI electronic injection system guarantees quick starts in different weather conditions and contributes to fuel economy. With the 12-liter tank, the estimated autonomy can exceed 400 km, depending on the riding style, making the model an efficient tool for both work and leisure.

Technology and standard items

The modernization of the project includes the adoption of full LED lighting, covering headlights, taillights and direction indicators. Esta technology provides superior visibility during night driving, increasing the motorcyclist’s passive safety, in addition to reducing energy consumption in the electrical system and offering greater durability to the lamps.

The instrument panel is fully digital and adopts a blackout style, which improves contrast and information readability in intense sunlight. Entre The data displayed is the speedometer, total and partial odometer, fuel gauge, clock and gear indicator, making it easier to monitor the motorcycle’s condition during the journey.

Pensando in the connectivity required by modern users, the manufacturer integrated a USB-C socket into the motorcycle’s dashboard. Este feature allows charging of smartphones and GPS devices without the need for external adapters, an essential feature for couriers and travelers who rely on navigation apps.

Cycling and safety

The motorcycle’s structure is based on a steel semi-double cradle chassis, designed to withstand the torsions typical of off-road use. The telescopic front suspension has 180 mm of travel, while the monoshock rear suspension offers 150 mm of travel, a combination that ensures efficient absorption of impacts over holes and speed bumps.

In terms of safety, the model offers two different braking configurations. The CBS version (Combined Brake System) distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels when pressing the pedal, ideal for beginner riders. Já the ABS version (Anti-lock Braking System) acts on the front wheel, preventing it from locking during sudden braking or on low-grip surfaces.

The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels are shod with mixed-use tires, which offer adequate grip on both asphalt and dirt. The two-level seat, positioned 836 mm from the ground, together with the wide, raised handlebars, provides an upright and comfortable riding position, reducing fatigue after long periods of riding.

Market context and competition

The low-displacement trail segment is one of the most sought after in the Brasil, and the renewal of the line aims to maintain the brand’s hegemony over direct competitors, such as the Yamaha Crosser 150 and the Haojue NK 150. The capillarity of the dealership network, with more than a thousand points of sale, and the three-year warranty with no mileage limit are strong arguments used to attract the consumer.

Além In addition, the ease of maintenance and the wide supply of spare parts on the parallel market contribute to the model’s low cost of ownership. The motorcycle is often chosen by fleet owners and self-employed professionals due to its reputation for mechanical robustness and low depreciation rate.
