The Jetour T2 arrives on the Brazilian market as a large plug-in hybrid SUV, equipped with a three-engine system that delivers a combined power of 320 hp and torque of 62.2 kgfm. The model, imported by Jetour (brand of the Chery group), begins pre-sale in February with deliveries scheduled for March. The Advance and Premium versions start at R$289,900 and R$299,900, respectively, and stand out for their efficient consumption of up to 27.6 km/l in the city according to measurements from the

The SUV measures 4,785 mm in length, 2,006 mm in width, 1,875 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, which guarantees ample interior space for five occupants. The trunk has a capacity of 580 liters, while the fuel tank holds 70 liters and the 26.7 kWh battery allows for an electric range of 75 km in the Inmetro cycle. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurs in 7.5 seconds, and the total hybrid range reaches up to 1,100 km.

The robust look is reminiscent of traditional off-road models, with square lines, external spare wheel and approach and departure angles of 28° and 30°, as well as a ground clearance of 205 mm and immersion capacity of up to 700 mm. The initial drive is front-wheel drive (4×2), but the brand confirms that a version with 4×4 all-wheel drive will arrive in the second half of the year.

Hybrid set and performance

The plug-in hybrid system combines a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine with 135 hp and 20.4 kgfm with two electric motors (one with 102 hp and the other with 122 hp). The 3-DHT transmission manages force distribution, prioritizing efficiency and smooth responses. Total power reaches 320 hp, with a combined torque of 62.2 kgfm.

Average consumption in hybrid mode reaches 11 km/l, with 11.4 km/l in the city and 10.5 km/l on the highway. In pure electric mode, the official range is 75 km, ideal for daily urban commuting. The battery supports fast charging, and the system allows full recharging in around 45 minutes using 40 kW chargers.

The SUV weighs 2,110 kg in running order, with a payload of 375 kg and a towing capacity of 750 kg. The reinforced structure contributes to stability under different conditions of use.

Dimensions and off-road capabilities

The generous measurements position the T2 as a medium-large option in the segment. The length of 4,785 mm (not including the spare tire) and the width of 2,006 mm offer an imposing presence. The 2,800 mm wheelbase favors comfort for passengers in the rear seat.

The ground clearance of 205 mm and the entry and exit angles allow it to cope with light uneven terrain. The water immersion capacity of up to 700 mm expands possibilities for use on wet roads or moderate flooding.

Available versions and equipment

Two configurations make up the starting line: Advance, for R$289,900, and Premium, for R$299,900. Ambas include a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights and intelligent driving assistant. External matte painting is optional for R$3,500.

The technological package includes multimedia with a large screen, digital panel, 360° panoramic image and comfort items such as ambient lighting. The versions differ in trim levels and additional equipment, with a focus on interior sophistication.

The model offers a reinforced structure and active safety technologies for greater occupant protection.

Jetour market strategy

The Jetour positions the T2 as top of the line in the Brasil, after the launches of the S06 and T1. The initial portfolio focuses on plug-in hybrid SUVs, with an emphasis on efficiency and technology.

The brand plans to expand with more models in the second half of the year, including the 4×4 version of the T2. Reservations are made through the official website, with a deposit of R$5,000 to guarantee a unit.

The focus on electrified propulsion meets growing demand for economical and sustainable options in the medium SUV segment.

Competition and positioning

The Jetour T2 competes in the mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV segment, where efficiency and electric range gain relevance. Consumption of up to 27.6 km/l in the city stands out compared to rivals with conventional engines.

The combination of performance (320 hp), internal space and adventurous appearance attracts consumers looking for versatility. The total autonomy of 1,100 km reinforces practicality for long trips.

The starting price of R$289,900 positions the model as a competitive alternative with a complete equipment and technology package.
