Nintendo has released a new mandatory data pack for users of its next-generation console, with a focus on improving the technical experience of one of its main platform titles. The update, identified as version 3.1.0, arrives to resolve performance issues and increase graphic quality, taking more efficient advantage of the hardware architecture available on the company’s latest device.

Software engineers worked directly to optimize the use of the graphics processor, seeking to eliminate bottlenecks that caused delays in responding to commands at times of greater density of elements on the screen. The restructuring of system resource allocation ensures a stable frame rate, meeting a long-standing demand from the competitive community for greater fluidity during gameplay.

Aesthetic refinement and 4K resolution

In this update, special attention has been paid to the visual aspect, with the introduction of reworked textures for key interactive objects. Itens such as bananas and health recovery collectibles are now rendered more sharply, utilizing 4K anti-aliasing techniques to prevent aliasing on high-resolution displays.

In addition to textures, the development team fixed issues with the dynamic lighting of the “K-O-N-G” collectible letters. The new shading approach prevents overlapping visual flaws, ensuring that these elements integrate more naturally into the different scenarios and phases of the game.

Artificial intelligence and storage fixes

One of the most significant changes directly impacts the challenge proposed by the title. Foi fixed an error in the programming of world bosses that created a repetitive and predictable cycle in their attack patterns. With the correction, the opponents’ artificial intelligence returns to the originally planned randomness, requiring quick reflexes and strategic adaptation on the part of players.

Regarding data management, the update brought benefits to the console’s memory:

– Otimização of the internal file structure to reduce space occupancy on the SSD.

– Manutenção of the quality of visual assets even with improved compression.

– Preservação of the charging speed between phases.

Expanding linguistic accessibility

Seeking to better serve the European market, Nintendo implemented full support for the Polish language. Localization covers all game text, including navigation menus, dialogue captions and user interfaces, removing language barriers and allowing local players to enjoy the narrative and systems without difficulty understanding.
