Anatel certifies Motorola Edge 70 Fusion with giant battery and confirms manufacturing in Jaguariúna
Agência Nacional of Telecomunicações recently completed the technical approval process for a new mobile device that promises to redefine energy autonomy standards in the premium intermediate segment. Documentos officials released by the regulatory body confirm the commercial authorization of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion for the Brazilian market, highlighting a battery capacity well above the current average. The certification also reveals that the device will be produced locally, which should speed up distribution to national retailers and ensure competitive prices.
The approved registrations identify the models under the codes XT2605-3 and XT2605-5, ensuring full compatibility with 5G networks operating in the country. Do strategic point of view, manufacturing will take place in the company’s industrial unit located in Jaguariúna, in the interior of São Paulo. Domestic production not only optimizes supply logistics for the consumer market, but also allows the manufacturer to take advantage of local tax incentives to offer a more aggressive cost-benefit ratio compared to imported competitors.
The brand’s focus for this launch focuses on continuing a visual language that was successful in previous generations, but with significant advances in internal hardware. The technical documentation suggests that the device maintains the characteristic elegance of the Edge family, with a curved screen and refined finish, while integrating high energy density components. The objective is to meet a growing demand for thin devices that do not require constant recharging throughout the day.
Extended autonomy and charging technology
The great technical highlight of the new device lies in its energy storage capacity, which far exceeds the current market standard. Enquanto most smartphones in the category are stuck at 5,000 mAh, the new Motorola model incorporates a 7,000 mAh battery. To achieve this capacity without transforming the device into a heavy or thick device, engineering used silicon-carbon anode technology, which allows for greater charge density in the same physical space as traditional lithium batteries.
To complement the high battery capacity, the device has support for 68 W fast charging. The brand’s proprietary TurboPower system allows the user to recover hours of use with just a few minutes connected to the socket. Testes Preliminaries indicate that the combination between the expanded power cell and efficient processor management can deliver autonomy greater than two days of moderate use, resolving one of the main complaints of modern consumers who use their smartphones intensively for work and media consumption.
Processing performance and updated software
The heart of the system is guaranteed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a platform developed to balance performance and thermal efficiency. The hardware set is reinforced by generous RAM memory options, ranging between 8 GB and 12 GB, in addition to a fixed internal storage of 256 GB. Essa configuration aims to ensure fluidity both in everyday tasks and in more demanding applications, such as games and editing short videos, while maintaining system responsiveness.
In terms of software, the device leaves the factory running Android 16, the most recent version of the Google operating system. The manufacturer has committed to offering long-term support for this model, guaranteeing three years of major operating system updates. Isso ensures that the device will remain up to date with new security features and functionality until the end of the decade, increasing the life of the product.
Audiovisual experience and photographic set
The smartphone’s visual interface is delivered through a 6.78-inch pOLED panel with 1.5K resolution. The fluidity of the screen stands out with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, ideal for smooth navigation and playback of dynamic content. Além In addition, the display has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and reaches a maximum brightness of 5,200 nits, ensuring perfect readability even in direct sunlight in outdoor environments.
The camera system has been redesigned with the inclusion of Sony Lytia series sensors. The main lens boasts 50 megapixels and promises captures with a high level of detail and excellent performance in low-light scenarios. The rear set is completed by a 13 megapixel ultrawide lens that also works as a macro sensor for close-up photos. Para selfies, the device offers a 32-megapixel front sensor equipped with artificial intelligence features to optimize portraits.
In terms of connectivity, the device is prepared for the wireless networks of the future, with support for the latest generation Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth and NFC technology for contactless payments. The approval of the Anatel is the last bureaucratic step necessary before the official launch, indicating that the product should reach national retail shelves soon.
