Panini has released the operational and commercial details for the official Copa picture book launch of the 2026 Mundo, which will be jointly hosted by Estados Unidos, México, and Canadá. With the expansion of the tournament to 48 teams and a total of 104 matches, the new collection will reach unprecedented dimensions in the history of the product, requiring a greater investment from collectors to complete the album. The price of an envelope containing five stickers was set at R$7.00, maintaining the upward trend observed in recent global sporting events.
The editorial project directly reflects the new format of the competition, resulting in the largest album ever produced by the publisher for an Mundial. The publication will have 112 pages and will contain a total of 980 stickers. Esta structure was designed to accommodate the squads of the 48 classified national teams, in addition to special sections dedicated to stadiums, emblems and historical records that mark the first edition of the tournament held in three countries simultaneously.
Team structure and page organization
The distribution of internal content was planned to ensure equity between participating teams. Cada one of the 48 teams will have space reserved for 20 players, allowing a comprehensive representation of the athletes who will compete for the trophy. The layout seeks to balance traditional football powers with debuting or lesser-known teams, democratizing visibility within the collection.
In addition to the casts, the album will dedicate exclusive pages to the event’s infrastructure. The 16 host stadiums, including iconic arenas such as the Estádio Azteca at Cidade at México, the SoFi Stadium at Los Angeles and the BC Place at The visual part also incorporates design elements that refer to the culture and visual identity of the three host countries, creating an aesthetic narrative that follows the tournament’s journey.
Costs and options for collectors
To meet different consumer profiles, the publisher will make starter kits available with price variations between R$97 and R$199. Essas options include the album in card or hardcover versions, accompanied by an initial quantity of envelopes. The strategy aims to facilitate the entry of new collectors and offer premium products to the most engaged public, who seek durability and superior finishing to keep their memories.
The increase in the total number of stickers represents a logistical and financial challenge. Compared to the 2022 edition of Catar, which had 670 stickers and 32 selections, the 2026 version requires the purchase of an additional 310 stickers to complete the collection. Especialistas in collecting indicate that repeated exchange will be essential to reduce the final cost, encouraging the formation of exchange communities in schools, squares and corporate environments.
Release and distribution schedule
The arrival of products at newsstands and official points of sale is expected to take place between March and April 2026. The schedule was established to generate engagement prior to the start of the games, scheduled to begin in June. The anticipation allows fans to familiarize themselves with the players called up and the new teams that are part of the competition.
In Brasil, distribution will follow a capillary model to reach all regions of the country. Logistics involves supplying newsstands, bookstores and e-commerce platforms. The expectation is that the sales volume will follow the interest generated by Seleção Brasileira and by the great stars of international football who will appear on the golden and special pages of the publication.
Special sections and tributes
The 2026 edition will bring content that goes beyond the current lineups. A section dedicated to football legends and historical moments from the past has been included to connect new generations with the tradition of the tournament. Shiny Figurinhas with different finishes will highlight the trophies, federation logos and official mascots.
The album also serves as a visual guide to the tournament, presenting relevant data and statistics about the qualifiers and team performance. With the inclusion of 16 more countries compared to the previous format, the collection takes on an educational role by presenting flags and uniforms from nations that will make their debut or return to the main stage of world football after long periods of absence.
