  • The band does not plan to tour at the moment
  • Contacts between members remain regular
  • Emphasis on relaunches and side projects
  • Recovery of Steven Tyler advances cautiously
  • Other options for the group remain under discussion

Recent re-releases and activities

Aerosmith has prioritized catalog projects in recent months. Legendary Expanded Edition’s debut album arrived in March 2026 with remastered, remixed versions and previously unreleased live recordings. The work included collaboration with Tyler and Perry in the mixing.

The next step should be a commemorative version of Toys in the Attic from the year 1975. Perry recalled that this album marked the moment in which the band began to establish itself in the studio. Ele cited the intensity of the recordings and the fact that many songs were written quickly while the group was still touring constantly.

EP One More Time with Yungblud represented a positive surprise by bringing new material with vocals by Tyler. The release helped maintain the band’s presence even without live performances.

Current band position

Joe Perry remains active with his solo career and Joe Perry Project. Ele does not rule out occasional meetings with his colleagues from Aerosmith but reinforces that the full tour format is out of the question for now. The band opted for a lighter rhythm and focused on the studio or special projects.

The members continue to monitor the recovery of Steven Tyler without rushing. Perry highlighted that everything in the process is fragile and that the group prefers to avoid unnecessary risks. The main message is continuity without commitment to extensive schedules.

Outlook for the near future

Aerosmith should focus efforts on catalog re-releases throughout 2026. The commemorative version of Toys in the Attic appears as a priority according to Perry. Esses projects allow the band to maintain relevance without relying on live performances.

Any additional activity with the five members together will depend on the evolution of Tyler’s vocal health and collective disposition. Até At the moment, the strategy is one of caution and focus on specific opportunities.
