Samsung releases stable One UI 8.5 for Galaxy S25 in May

Samsung starts distributing One UI 8.5 in stable version for the Galaxy S25 series between April 30th and May 1st. The update arrives first on Coreia from Sul, while users in the rest of the world should receive the notification starting Monday, May 4th. The new interface has been tested since December on multiple models, accumulating ten beta versions over the last five months.

Aproximadamente two dozen devices are already participating in the One UI 8.5 experimental testing program. Essa’s broad test base facilitates rapid distribution of the final version among compatible cell phones and tablets, which should be updated throughout the month of May.

Modelos included in the first wave

Os Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra receive stable One UI 8.5 as priority. Esses devices are among the first to benefit from the official release, following Samsung’s schedule for software rollout.

The Galaxy S26 series has already arrived on the market with One UI 8.5 installed at the factory, while the Galaxy A37 and A57 models also started with the latest version of the interface. Além from Galaxy S25, the update should reach other devices that participated in the beta phase:

  • Galaxy Tab S11
  • Galaxy A series (A37, A57 and additional models)
