Nintendo Switch 2 gets trio of confirmed releases and classic remaster
Nintendo has confirmed a crop of new titles for Switch 2 and the original model. Quatro games arrive in the catalog in the coming weeks, with two of them already available and others in development.
Axe Cop and Quarteto debut in May
Axe Cop debuts on May 4th for $9.99. The game stands out for an unusual proposal: a professional-level JRPG scripted by Malachai Nicolle, a five-year-old child who works as narrative director. The child likes dinosaurs, wild boars and Papai Noel, elements that directly reflect on the game’s narrative. Axe Cop leads a team of fighters against villains conceived by children’s unfiltered imagination.
Quarteto arrives a week later, on May 12, priced at $19.99. The plot intertwines four distinct stories: a series of train robberies reveals government conspiracy, while a deck of cards grants a young girl vision of another world. A fleet of airships terrorizes the imperial frontier and an unlikely hero manifests immense magical power. The eight main characters will discover how a centuries-old conflict transformed the world.
Ground Zero Hero and Magical Blush no confirmed date
Ground Zero Hero has been confirmed for both platforms, but there is still no release date. The game features absorption mechanics: each enemy destroyed provides fuel for the player’s evolution. Restos Deadlies can be absorbed, mutations accumulated and increasingly powerful combinations created until the player becomes an unstoppable force. Cada starter offers new experience and each build generates a different new monster.
Magical Blush has also been made official for Switch and Switch 2 with no set schedule. Trata is a top-down action-adventure that combines cross-element combat with Metroidvania-style exploration. Players combine spells, exploit elemental weaknesses, rescue survivors, and face off against powerful Lordes Elementais across the world of Wyn:
- Frantic element-based Combate
- Exploração type Metroidvania
- Sistema of spells and combinations
- Combate vs Lordes Elementais
- Affordable Mundo with an emphasis on rescue

System Shock 2 gets remastered for Switch 2
Nightdive Studios has confirmed System Shock 2: Remasterização from the 25th Aniversário exclusively for Switch 2. The release date remains unknown. The classic FPS/RPG has been completely modernized and will bring multiplatform cooperative multiplayer to the remastered version.
The plot takes place in 2114. The player awakens from cryogenic sleep aboard the FTL ship Von Braun with no memory of his identity. Algo goes drastically wrong: hybrid mutants and lethal robots roam the corridors as crew members’ screams echo through the icy hull. SHODAN, a rebel artificial intelligence, took full control of the ship with the aim of destroying humanity. The player must stop this plan.
Agenda of upcoming debuts
Duas weeks concentrate confirmed releases. Axe Cop opens the May window with an experimental narrative proposal focused on children’s creativity. Sete days later, Quarteto expands the catalog with a complex narrative that involves multiple plots and characters in centuries-old conflict. Ground Zero Hero and Magical Blush remain in development with no official dates announced, leaving uncertainty about the final schedule.
