Samsung confirmed the adoption of the Exynos 2500 processor in all regions of the world for the Galaxy S26 FE, ending the previous strategy of hardware variation depending on the market. The chipset, manufactured using 3 nanometer technology, will run native Android 17 with the One UI 9.0 interface, still in the beta testing phase. The unification marks a significant change in the Korean manufacturer’s processor distribution policy.

Exynos 2500 consolidates technological independence from Samsung

The new processor represents Samsung’s strategic investment in its own technology, reducing dependence on external suppliers such as Qualcomm. Até Now, the Galaxy S26 had regional variations — Asian markets received Snapdragon, while other areas used Exynos. The FE line will follow a single standard on a global scale, simplifying supply chains and reducing production costs. Galaxy S26 Ultra

Testes leaks on Geekbench revealed competitive performance of the platform. The Exynos 2500 achieved 2,426 points in single-core and 8,004 in multi-core, positioning the chipset in a suitable range for the mid-premium category. Manufacturing in 3 nanometers by Samsung itself guarantees greater control over volumes and margins, in addition to optimizing energy efficiency to benefit the 5,000 mAh battery provided for in the model.

Especificações maintains inheritance from the previous model

The Galaxy S26 FE will recycle strategic features from its predecessor, preserving consolidated experience in essential hardware points. The 6.7-inch flat Dynamic AMOLED 2X display maintains Full HD+ resolution with Hz 120 refresh rate and centered punch-hole panel. The 12 MP front camera is for selfies and video calls.

  • Sistema triple rear with 50 MP main sensor and optical image stabilization
  • Lente 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom
  • 5,000 mAh Bateria with 45W fast charging support
  • Certificação IP68 against water and dust up to 1.5 meters deep
  • Conectividade 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC for mobile payments

The operational memory will be 8 GB of RAM, with storage in two versions: 128 GB or 256 GB. Essas configurations maintain compatibility with heavy multitasking and high-quality local media storage, meeting the needs of users who demand consistent performance.

One UI 9.0 integrates native artificial intelligence

The One UI 9.0 interface was customized for the Android 17, optimizing the experience with artificial intelligence integrated directly into the operating system. Testes beta has already begun with selected user groups in key markets. Samsung accelerates the launch of this version on a global scale, with a specific schedule for cell phones outside of Coreia and Sul.

One UI 9.0 brings visual redesign to transition animations and improved camera controls with native generative AI features. Notificações gain contextual intelligence, aggregating relevant information without alert fragmentation. Extended update support follows the Galaxy standard — minimum three years of operating system updates and two additional years of security patches.

Lançamento global awaits official confirmation

Samsung remains confidential about the exact timeline of the Galaxy S26 FE, following a standard strategy of cautious communication. Fontes indicate a possible presentation in the second half of 2026, in line with the brand’s traditional cycle. Confirmação will depend on the resolution of final validation tests and distribution negotiations with global operators in different regions.

The manufacturer only released a projection on when devices outside the Coreia will receive One UI 8.5, a version prior to the new system. Esse pattern illustrates a cautious communicative policy with international markets, avoiding hasty promises about availability dates that could compromise production schedules or generate unrealistic expectations among consumers.
