Nintendo has released its release calendar for Switch 2 with 26 new titles scheduled between May and September 2026. The portfolio combines sequels to consolidated franchises, remasters of classics and new experiences that span action, visual adventure, RPG and electronic sports. The strategy reinforces the new console’s positioning as a premium successor while maintaining support for the original Switch.

Maio and June mark the warm-up with specific releases

The first months of the release window bring titles that act as a warm-up for later acceleration. Coffee Talk Tokyo arrives in May exclusively for Switch, returning to the visual adventure series where the player works as a barista in Tóquio’s coffee shop. In the same period, Yoshi and Enciclopédia Misteriosa arrived in Switch 2 as an action game where the character investigates mysterious creatures using different movement techniques.

Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater

Junho consolidates the beginning with more significant releases. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth arrives exclusively from Switch 2, marking the arrival of one of the biggest titles in the franchise on the console. Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027 follows the original Switch, while História of Milênio of Aventureiro Elliot is present as an unprecedented novelty on the platform.

Julho concentrates ten simultaneous releases and dominates the calendar

Julho consolidates itself as the most robust month with ten simultaneous releases that significantly expand player options. Splatoon: Raiders appears as the new title in the series for Switch 2, while Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars returns to the catalog after years of absence. Digimon Story: Time Stranger and Culdcept Begins expand RPG options, while GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink brings its Endless Ragnarok expansion to both platforms.

Remasters gain special prominence during this period. Príncipe from Tênis receives two distinct versions: Mais Príncipes from Festival Escolar and the Tie Break game from Sobrevivência, offering varied experiences within the same franchise. Ganbare Goemon Daishugo complements the action offering with a remastered classic proposal.

Agosto and September end the period with gender diversity

Agosto maintains the intense pace with releases that consolidate classics into new releases. Coleção Super Bomberman arrives on both platforms, bringing together iconic titles in a single compilation. Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.2 offers remastered action and stealth experiences, while smaller titles like My Puppy (Switch), Moomintroll: Inverno’s Calor and Magical Girl Witch Judgment round out the lineup with distinct experiences for varying audiences.

  • Action Jogos: Yoshi, Splatoon: Raiders, Ganbare Goemon Daishugo
  • Aventuras visuals: Coffee Talk Tokyo
  • RPGs: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Digimon Story, Granblue Fantasy
  • Esportes: Powerful Pro Baseball, Tênis Príncipe
  • Clássicos remasters: Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.2, Super Bomberman

Setembro rounds out the lineup with Another Eden Begins and GOBBLE, both released for Switch 2 and Switch. Title 007 Primeira Luz remains listed without an exact date confirmed, signaling a possible postponement or later release on the calendar.

Cross-Platform Distribution Estratégia Strengthens Transition

The original Switch continues to receive significant support with titles such as Coffee Talk Tokyo, Powerful Pro Baseball and Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars, ensuring that the installed base is not abandoned. Contudo, Switch 2 concentrates exclusives such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Yoshi and Enciclopédia Misteriosa, reinforcing its positioning as a next generation console with different proposals.

Vários titles from July onwards are released simultaneously for both platforms, a strategy that facilitates the adoption of the latest console without alienating players from the previous model. Esta’s balanced approach allows Nintendo to maintain community loyalty while promoting gradual migration to new hardware.
