Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced debuts in July with ray tracing graphics on Xbox

Ubisoft announced the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced for Xbox Series X|S on July 9th. The remastered version of the 2013 classic has been rebuilt from the ground up by Ubisoft Singapore using the latest Anvil engine. The game maintains the essence of the original pirate adventure, but incorporates visuals and gameplay fully updated for current hardware.

Gráficos and audio on a new level

The new version runs with ray tracing activated, offering much more realistic reflections and lighting. Support for Dolby Atmos transforms the sound experience, creating environments with superior depth and immersion. The Anvil Atmos system allows for full dynamic weather, where winds and waves change depending on weather conditions. Violent Tempestades alternates with moments of serene sunshine in Caribe, reinforcing the feeling of a living, connected world.

Environments now flow without loading screens between land and sea. The player moves seamlessly between different areas, eliminating interruptions that broke immersion in the original. Essa structural change reinforces the feeling of an inhabited and cohesive world.

Combate and drive reworked

Edward Kenway gains more fluidity on the ground with animations tuned for agile and responsive movements. Combat was focused on visceral finishes and new parry mechanics were added. Rapid Movimentos rope darts and pistols now integrate better into the flow of battle, creating a more dynamic experience.

The character can crouch at any time, reducing visibility for enemies at medium and long distances. Missões’s pursuit modes have also changed: if the player is detected, it is still possible to complete the objective, unlike the original where the desync occurred immediately. Essas changes make exploration and stealth more natural and less punishing.

Naval Navegação with new mechanics

The Jackdaw frigate has received additional secondary weapons and enemies now have alliances and rivalries that influence behavior and equipment. The player can take a pet during navigation, while three recruitable officers bring exclusive mechanics for naval combat. Official Cada requires completing unique side quests before joining the crew permanently.
